10. A good social worker is like a honey bee; dedicated to working with those they serve in the illness “hive” but equally active in gathering sweet resources out in the world to give to those who are in need, when they are in need.

A good CSW is hard to find -- and when you do find one, keep her. (Why are they always "hers"?) I had an all-star to whom I owe a salaam for every disability check I get. Ah, Katie Wilson. Whatever happened to you? I need you more than ever!

Could one reason be that they try and keep you on their good side? :)

I know that God works in mysterious ways but be honest and tell me, did you have any inklings that I might be hiding in a cave of denial also?

I'll have you know that thanks to you I've now started pricking myself again! (lol!?)

Okay, stupid question here. I have spent 22 days in the hospital since October 23 for a rampaging neurological disorder that has yet to be officially named, I am trying to deal with insurance companies and medical supply companies and doctors and medical records and such all on my own. How oh how does one acquire a social worker???
